Tom deVries
>>Project Manager
Tom graduated from Boston College with a Science degree. He worked as a geologist in Colorado, and at a desk in New York City’s financial district before discovering how much he preferred the outdoors, working with tools and his hands. During the ensuing thirty years, Tom mastered the skills of house building, steadily advancing to mastery of all the necessary skills, and acquiring the knowledge that qualifies him as a Master Builder. Tom is married and lives in East Hampton with his wife. He has continued to cherish his time spent out of doors, coaching athletics and chaperoning bicycle and backpacking trips when he is free from boosting the University of Michigan’s sports teams.

J. OLIVER GIAQUINTO

Oliver has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering. His expertise is the functionality and use of the systems behind the integration of whole house audio visual/sound, security, motorized window and doors, accessories and energy efficient HVAC systems, etc. He lives in East Hampton.

CESAR NAVARRO

Cesar has been with Plum Builders since 2000 and is trained and licensed in the new work practices Federal law mandates for painting/renovating homes built before 1978. He has an degree in Mathamatics from (tba) University. Cesar lives in East Hampton with his wife and daughter.

ALEXA BREDBURY

Alexa graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. Although she is a native New Englander Alexa loves to travel, and has lived in Alaska and Hawaii. Her previous experience was in project and tour management for the music industry providing her the gift of grace under fire. Alexa joined the Plum Team in 2007; she is an Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer, Certified by the National Kitchen and Bath Association. She currently lives in East Hampton.

ANTHONY GIAQUINTO

Anthony holds a BBA from Fordham University. His previous experience was in the Division of Housing and Community Renewal/ Multi-family/Capital improvement in New York City. He spent much of his early life in East Hampton, graduating from MHT Catholic School on Meadow Way before his education took him far afield. He values the small town life in East Hampton that he now lives with his wife and two children.

MARY GIAQUINTO

Mary has been with the Plum team since its inception in 1983. In Fall of 2009 Mary completed the required course work at NYU to receive a Certificate in Construction Project Management. Mary oversees Marketing for Plum Builders which includes advertising and events. Mary Giaquinto has a BA in English from the University of Cincinnati.

ALFONSO GIAQUINTO

Al Giaquinto is a Graduate Master Builder (GMB), a Certified Green Professional (CGP) and a Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR), credentials awarded from the National Association of Home Builders as well as an MBA in Finance. He is a member of Board of Directors of Long Island Builders Institute and a member of the Executive Council of the East End Chapter of Long Island Builders Institute. He is a past president of the NKBA Advisory Council of Builders and Remodelers. Al is a Member of the 17 Lex Society, supporters of Bernard Baruch College, where he also mentors young entrepreneurs, and is a member of the Board of the East Hampton YMCA.
